CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. -- Camp Pendleton and Marine Corps Community Services hosts the 2016 Beach Bash at the Del Mar Beach here, July 4. Music, recreational activities, giveaways as well as food and refreshments were available to Marines, Sailors and their families.

CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. -- Camp Pendleton and Marine Corps Community Services hosts the 2016 Beach Bash at the Del Mar Beach here, July 4. Music, recreational activities, giveaways as well as food and refreshments were available to Marines, Sailors and their families.

Approximately 2000 Marines and Sailors participated in the 2016 World Famous mud Run by Lake O'Neill here, June 3. The race was part of the Commanding General's Cup and covered about 6.5 miles. Approximately 2000 Marines and Sailors participated in the 2016 World Famous mud Run by Lake O'Neill here, June 3. The race was part of the Commanding General's Cup and covered about 6.5 miles. Camp Pendleton’s 31 Area Edson Range Mess Hall received the Maj. Gen. William Pendleton Thompson Hill Award for best full food service mess hall in the Marine Corps, May 31. The W.P.T. Hill Award was established in 1985 to improve food service operation and recognize the best messes in the Marine Corps.

CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. -- Camp Pendleton hosts a Multi-Cultural Day to celebrate the contributions of the different cultures in the United States and the military at the Mainside Patio here, May 26. More than 40 Marines and civilians with Marine Corps Installations - West, 1st Marine Division, 1st Marine Logistics Group and I Marine Expeditionary Force set up booths and exhibits in order to foster a sense of unity among the diverse groups serving within the military.
