CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. -- Artillery units are scheduled to conduct 24-hour live-fire training exercises that will involve firing in training and impact areas on the northern part of the base from 6 a.m. to midnight, Monday, Sept. 21 to Friday, Sept. 25.
Depending on atmospheric conditions, the sound of the explosions may be amplified and heard in the many communities surrounding the base like Fallbrook, San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano and even Irvine.
