CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. -- Camp Pendleton will host an annual Fire School here Wednesday, June 15. This exercise is designed for new company officers and people working toward becoming crew leaders with their respective fire departments. This gives them the opportunity to engage in live fire activity in a relatively controlled environment in order to gain confidence in their command and control abilities.
*MEDIA COORDINATING INSTRUCTIONS*
Media interested in attending the course will have the opportunity to witness the training evolution and interview those participating in the event. Those wishing to attend must RSVP to Camp Pendleton Public Affairs Office via email; Pendletonmedia@usmc.mil no later than 3:00 p.m. Tuesday June 14th. Confirmed media members will meet at Camp Pendleton's San Luis Rey Gate no later than 9:00 a.m. on WEDNESDAY to be escorted to the event. Anyone arriving after 9:00 a.m. will not be granted access to the event.
