Media Advisory #12-024 Camp Pendleton to host community leaders at the Annual Evening Colors Ceremony

CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. —

Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton will host military

members and commy leaders at the Annual Evening Colors Ceremony celebrating 70

years of Marine Corps training history at Camp Pendleton on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m.

 

Although Camp Pendleton was established on Sept 25, 1942, this is an annual event

celebrating the base’s rich history and thanking the commy leaders for their continued

support of Marines, Sailors and their families. There will be a short reception and concert

from the 1st Marine Division Band at the historic Santa Margarita Ranch House.  The

ceremony will conclude with the retiring of the colors.
