MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP PENDLETON, Ca. --

The Manpower Management Enlisted Assignments Command is slated to visit Pendleton to conduct a series of manpower in-calls, briefs and interviews, Oct. 17-19.

The purpose of the visit is to update commanders of enlisted manpower issues and assist Marines in making well informed career decisions.

Information pertaining to enlisted assignments, distribution and retention will also be provided by MMEA, while participating Marines will be given the opportunity to discuss future assignments with their Primary Military Occupational Specialty Monitors.

The projected end goal, as stated in MARADMIN 361/12, is to educate commands and their Marines on the latest manpower management and enlisted assignments policies and procedures.

Enlisted PMOS monitors will be available for personal interviews, and one-on-one discussions will be held to ensure clear communication regarding the needs of the Marine Corps while addressing the desires of each Marine individually.
