CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. -- There will be construction at the Las Pulgas Gate from April 22 to May 6.

The road work will go be conducted from of 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Construction will consist of trenching and installing fiber optic wire along the outbound lanes and down to the entrance of red beach.

There will be minor impacts to the gate; however, traffic may be slow for personnel leaving the gate during the construction.

Flag men and appropriate signs will be on site to help facilitate traffic through the facility and to the access ramp of I-5.
