Regional Service Desk mission rehearsal

CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. --
Marine Corps Installations- West G-6 is slated to conduct a service desk mission rehearsal within the MCIWEST-Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton Region.
This mission rehearsal is designed to determine MCI-WEST Regional Service Desk’s ability to handle the volume of service calls currently received by the service desk at 1-866-THE-NMCI.
All users within the MCI-WEST area of responsibility that require Non-classified Internet Protocol Router Network technical support are instructed to call the Marine Air-Ground Task Force Information Technology Support Center West Regional Service Desk commencing from Dec. 3 - 9.
This is being conducted in preparation for assumption of services from Navy Marine Corps Intranet Service Desk, which ends Jan. 31, to the MITSC-West Regional Service Desk. The Mission Rehearsal will focus on service desk call agent incident response and test telecommunications infrastructure capabilities.
For NIPRNet technical support end-users aboard Camp Pendleton are instructed to dial 763-0173. Users outside of Camp Pendleton are instructed to dial 1-877-739-5724 or DSN 361-0173. For all BlackBerry, Windows 7 Refresh and In Place Load, and air card support, users are instructed to call 1-866-843-6624 (NMCI).
