Federal Voting Assistance Program to hold workshop

CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. --
The Federal Voting Assistance Program is scheduled to hold a voting assistance workshop at building 16840, room 120, Jan. 14.
The workshop, scheduled from 9-11 a.m., is open to all voting assistance officers, civilian and military. It is an interactive, hands-on training session where the participants can ask questions and make comments.
Both Congress and the Department of Defense inspector general have emphasized the importance of all voting assistance officers receiving comprehensive training on how to perform their duties, according to Infogram 52-13. The workshop will provide critical information, resources, and tools for successful performance of participating in the electoral process.
