CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. – The Camp Pendleton Transition Readiness Program and the Microsoft Software & Systems Academy held a graduation today for Marines that passed the 16 week software programming course offered by Microsoft and Central Texas University. “When I heard about this course, I knew it was a great opportunity and it just made sense, since I’m transitioning out.” said Gunnery Sgt. Anthony Lashley, a graduate of the software programming course. “This course gives you a lot of the basic programming skills. It is very beneficial, especially for someone that has no background in [information technology] , like I did.” Any personnel that have a significant interest in software programming please contact (760) 725-6386 for more information.
