The Base Access Control branch on Camp Pendleton has moved from the Mainside Center to the Las Pulgas Gate located six miles north of the front gate and is currently open.

The BAC, a branch of the Provost Marshals Office, manages contractor and business vendor access, visitor control and special access passes.

The new BAC branch location is at Bldg. 41501T, adjacent to Las Pulgas Gate. Hours of operations are Monday through Wednesday and Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

The rapid gate kiosks will be available only during business hours, according to Basegram 28-09.

The branch relocation to the Las Pulgas Gate was for security purposes, said Michael Stefanyshyn, BAC branch manager, PMO, Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton.

The new BAC location is further away from Mainside Camp Pendleton to maximize controlled access to base, said Stefanyshyn.

For more information contact the base access control branch at (760) 763-7604 or 1220.
