CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. --
Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton is scheduled to host the 2017 Marine West Exposition Feb. 1-2 at the 22 Area parade deck located near the Air Station.
For 25 years, Marine West has served as a platform to allow defense industry vendors to meet with warfighters and exchange thoughts and ideas for the future force.
Displays at Marine West 2017 will present individual items of equipment and weapons, logistics support systems, communications equipment, and special operations systems as well as a wide array of other Marine Corps modernization assets.
All expo attendees will be required to have photo identification available when entering the base and vehicles may be subjected to inspection. Registration will be on-site. Marines in uniform will not be required to register. There is no fee to attend the event.
On the first day of Marine West, a Commanders' Preview will be held at 8:30 a.m. All other attendees are invited to attend the opening ceremony from 9:45 a.m. The exposition area will be open from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. on that first day. On the second day, the exposition will be open from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Media interested in covering this event must RSVP to Camp Pendleton Media Relations Office via email; Pendletonmedia@usmc.mil no later than 4 p.m. tomorrow. Media will only be hosted on Wednesday but will get to attend the Commander's preview. Confirmed media members will meet at the Visitor's Center parking lot at Camp Pendleton's MAIN GATE no later than 7:45 a.m. on WEDNESDAY to be escorted to the event. Anyone arriving after 7:45 a.m. will not be granted access to the event.
