Press Release #12-028 Pendleton’s Fire and Emergency Services Since 1942 exhibit opens to public

A new exhibit entitled “Camp Pendleton Fire and Emergency Services Since 1942” will open 9 a.m. at the Santa Margarita Ranch House National Historic Site, Aug. 1.

The new exhibit, in honor of the 70th anniversary of Camp Pendleton’s Fire and Emergency Services, will be free for the public to visit. For directions or to book tickets call (760)725-5758 or email MCBCAMPEN.history.fct@usmc.mil.

Trained personal guides will be provided by the Rancho Santa Margarita y Las Flores Docents. The exhibit portrays Camp Pendleton’s fire and emergency services history from the collections of the department and former fire department personnel.
