Due to the possibility of system outages and other factors, customers at all offices should anticipate long wait times and interruptions of service. Pass and ID offices are prioritizing services to those requiring CAC issuance, lost/stolen CAC or USID cards, cards due to expire in the next 30 days and pin resets.
Services are prioritized as follows:
1. Active Duty and Reserve service members (on orders) requiring CAC related services.
2. Civilian employees and contractors requiring CAC related services.
3. Family members and retirees.
To locate additional Pass and ID offices in the region or to schedule an appointment, please visit the Rapids ID Card Office online. Currently the DD 1172-2 feature is only available to customers that have a CAC card. DS logon users will not be able to complete the DD 1172-2 online and must schedule a rapids appointment. Signing a DD 1172-2 must be done in person during the appointment.
There is a known error with the DD Form 1172-2 feature. DO NOT sign the DD Form 1172-2 online. HQMC and DMDC are working on a resolution to this issue.
