Fire Station 1 is located on Vandergrift Boulevard at 11th Street near Marine Corps Air Station and was originally built in 1943. A station renovation project was completed in 2015. Fire Station 1’s first due includes the Chappo Area (22), the Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Area (23), the Pico, Area (24), the Vado Del Rio, Area (25), Camp Margarita, Area (33), the warehouse district and the base brig.

Fire Station 2 was built in 1986 and renovated in 2013 and is located within the Navy Assault Craft Unit (ACU)-5 Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC) Complex off Stuart Mesa Road west of Interstate 5 (I-5) on the Pacific Coast. This station is maintained through an Inter-Service Support Agreement and first due is Stuart Mesa Housing Area, Edson Range Area (31A), Marine Corps Tactical Systems Support Activity (MCTSSA) Area (31B), ACU-5 Area (31C) which includes four (4) LCAC maintenance hangers, and the Marine Air Support Squadron (MASS III), Area (32), and Area (41).

Fire Station 3 was built in 1943, located on Vandergrift Boulevard at 16th Street, which is an extension of Rattlesnake Canyon Rd. Station 3’s first due includes Mainside, Headquarters Areas (11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18), base golf course, Serra Mesa Housing, San Luis Rey Housing, and DeLuz Housing Areas.

Fire Station 4 was built in 2020 located on Santa Margarita Road. Station 4’s first due is 26 Area, 27 Area, Lake O’Neil Recreation Area, O’Neil Heights Housing Area and the Wounded Warrior Center.

Fire Station 5 was built in 2009 located on Wire Mountain Road. Fire Station 5’s first due includes Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton, the Main Gate, 20 Area, South Mesa Housing Area, Wire Mountain Housing Area, Camp Del Mar 21 Area, and 7.5 miles of Northbound Interstate-5 Freeway.

Fire Station 6 was demolished in 2016 and replaced by a temporary trailer in 2019. It is located on the same site in Las Pulgas Canyon. Fire Station 6’s first due is the 43 Area and 9.5 miles of Interstae-5 Freeway.

Fire Station 7 was built in 1942 and supported by Building 520162, a prefab metal apparatus bay facility built in 1989. Fire Station 7 is located on Basilone Road and first due is School of Infantry-West, 52 Area, Camp Horno, 53 Area, San Onofre Housing, San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station (SONGS), Mutual-Aid response into Orange County and 17 miles of Interstate-5 freeway.

Fire Station 8 was built in 1942 and supported by Building 63125, a prefab metal apparatus bay facility built in 1995. Fire Station 8 is located on Basilone Road and first due is Christianitos Road and first due is Camp San Mateo, 62 Area, 63 Area, 64 Area, and Camp Talega.

Fire Station 9 a single-story storage facility both owned by the Navy and located just west of the Fallbrook Gate. Fire Station 9 is maintained through an Inter-Service Support Agreement (ISSA) and first due is Naval Weapons Station Fallbrook.

Fire Station 10 was built in 2012 located on Stuart Mesa Rd. Fire Station 10’s first due is Camp Las Flores, 41 Area, Stuart Mesa Housing Area, Edson Range Area (31A), Marine Corps Tactical Systems Support Activity (MCTSSA) Area (31B), and ACU-5 Area (31C) which includes four (4) LCAC maintenance hangers.

Fire Station 28 is a Wildland Fire Station responds to all wildland incidents on base when in staffed from May to November each year through an Interagency Fire Agreement by Camp Pendleton F&ES and the U.S. Forest Service Cleveland National Forest. Fire Station 28’s first due is Case Springs Area, Ranges, Training & Impact areas and the Cleveland National Forest.
