Marine Corps Community Services Camp Pendleton, in conjunction with BMW and Universal Technical Institute, is pleased to announce that the first class of graduates of the BMW Military Service Technician Program will be graduating tomorrow, June 15, 2018 at 12 p.m.
MSTEP is a first-of-its-kind training program for service members transitioning from military service on Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton. The 16-week, BMW-specific technical education program features a specialized on-base curriculum and hours of hands-on technical training in a workshop setting, opening the door for service members to a promising future with the BMW brand.
Prior to the graduation, there will be an open house held at the MSTEP workshop/classroom adjacent to the Auto Skills Center (Bldg. 13191) on Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton. The open house will occur from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. and will allow guests to see the tools and equipment used by MSTEP students. Students and instructors will be available for interviews during this time
At 12 p.m. a formal graduation ceremony will occur at San Luis Ray Hall (Bldg. 1795, Unit Event Center).
