Press Release #13-029 Noise levels may increase aboard Camp Pendleton

Marine Corps aircraft units will be dropping 500 pound high explosive bombs in the Zulu impact area from noon to 11 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday.

Depending on atmospheric conditions, the sound of the explosions may be amplified and heard up to 50 miles away.
