Chuck Sketch, a swimmer, shooter and cyclist for the Veterans Team, rides a two-passenger bike with Maj. Susan Stark, the event director, during one of the Camp Pendleton 2011 Marine Corps Trials 10 kilometer cycling competitions, Feb. 23. Stark acts as Sketch's eyes as he uses the hand cranks to power the duo. Sketch, a native of Wildomar, Calif., lost his sight from brain cancer in 1997 and lost both of his legs due to complications with blood clots in 1998.
