Retired gunnery sergeant and actor R. Lee Ermey shoots a television scene, which will be featured weekly on ESPN’s College Game Day, at an obstacle course located on Camp Pendleton’s School of Infantry-West, Aug. 30. Ermey’s role calls for him to insult sports analysts who pick the wrong winning team the week prior. During his time on base, Ermey visited Marines at the Staff Non commissioned Officer’s Academy to sign autographs and pose for pictures.
