MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. --  Marine Corps Air Station Miramar is hosting information sessions for those seeking undergraduate degrees beginning in September. These sessions are open to members of all the military services.

Sessions will cover such topics as:

1) General information about the university and how to apply.

2) What are colleges/universities looking for in an application from Veterans?

3) What makes an application competitive?

4) General advice about applying to highly selective colleges.

5) Time for one-on-one consultations.

The universities/colleges participating in the information session are Yale University on Monday, September 17, 2012 at 1500; Dartmouth College on Monday, October 1, 2012 at 1500; University of Chicago on Monday, October 15, 2012 at 1500 and Columbia University all day Monday, November 5, 2012.

All information sessions will be held at The Hub, building 5305, aboard MCAS Miramar.
