Marine Corps Community Services hosted the 30th annual Beach Bash on Del Mar Beach here July 4.

This year approximately 45,000 patrons were in attendance throughout the day.

The beach bash offered entertainment for children like five bounce houses, an inflatable super slide and carnival games as well as entertainment for adults like live music, barbequing on the beach and giveaways which included cash prizes, a motorcycle and a car.

Throughout the month of June, military families were asked to submit photos of their families or deployed service member to MCCS for the Tribute to Heroes video that was played prior to the start of the fireworks show.
