1st Sgt. Nick Hamm, Nick Siemens, and Jesse Williamson are all Marines that raced for Warrior Built in the Inaugural Imperial Valley 250 off-road race was run on Saturday, April 26 near Plaster City, California. Marines and civilian employees from Camp Pendleton participated in the race and worked as pit crew members. The race was approximately 249 miles long and is a preparation race for the Baja 1000 off-road race. Several different classes of race vehicles participated in the Imperial Valley 250 such as: motocross bikes, quads, buggies, and trophy trucks. Hamm is a 1st Sergeant with School of Infantry-West, Siemens is a combat veteran with 2nd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, and Williamson combat veteran with 2nd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment. Warrior Built is a company built by combat veterans for combat veterans to help them with healing process using vocational therapy and recreational therapy.
