Press Release #19-002 - Smoke from Camp Pendleton Fire School may be visible June 3-7

Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton will host over 300 firefighters from over 20 local, state, and federal firefighting agencies at a week-long fire training exercise held June 3-7 involving both ground crews and firefighting helicopters operating at training areas throughout the base.

During the event, fires will be set and prescribed burns conducted. Smoke may be visible from the communities surrounding the base.
