Iron and manganese filters installed at Camp Pendleton’s 24 Area water treatment plant to lower the levels of excess minerals allowing the water to meet secondary drinking water standards. U.S. Marines and civilians work to install a MK-154 Launcher Mine Clearance kit onto an assault amphibious vehicle on Camp Pendleton, Calif., June 19, 2017. The MK-154 LMC is being reintroduced to the fleet after safety issues halted its employment in 2013. The graduating class of the Warrior Training Advancement Course listen to guest speakers congratulate them on their achievements on June 15, 2017. WARTAC is a 14-week program that helps transitioning service members become veteran service representatives with the Department of Veterans Affairs.To enroll in the course candidates have to be on active duty, approaching the end of their active duty service date and have their commander’s support for attendance.
