“Eagle Eyes” is a suspicious activity reporting program developed through the combined efforts of Marine Corps Installations West and the 1st Marine Expeditionary Force. The program encourages people, on and off Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif., to participate and play an important role in deterring, detecting and defeating criminal or terrorist crimes. Dietz and Robinson are both veterans and wounded warriors racing for the Walter Reed Bethesda Cycling team, which is made up of wounded Army and Marine Corps veterans who will compete in the 3,000-mile race from Oceanside, Calif. to Annapolis, Md.
