The battalion sergeant major for 3rd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment found a way to build camaraderie within in his unit here June 16.Sergeant Maj. Michael L. Scarbrough led his battalion for the last time in a 3-mile run and physical fitness session here before the unit deploys to Iraq next month.The activity was an all-hands event for enlisted personnel to keep servicemembers fit for any situation they might face. “We’re in the shoot guys, we’ve got to keep stepping our game up,” Scarbrough said.
