Southern meal offered in honor of Dr. King

CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. -- In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., the 13-Area Chow Hall, Building 1395, is scheduled to serve a special, southern-style meal today from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The price for non-meal card holders is $4.60 per person. Some of the dishes offered include chicken gumbo soup, fried chicken, southern-style corn bread, southern-fried catfish fillets, mashed potatoes and more.
