Pre-retirement seminars to provide transitioning guidance

Marine Corps Community Services, Marine and Family Programs is set to host a pre-retirement seminar for Marine and Navy personnel who are considering retirement within the next two years at the Family Team Building Center here, bldg. 1795 on Feb. 12 - 15 from 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Another seminar will be held at the same location March 11 – 14 from 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. for Marine and Navy personnel who are interested in retiring within two years and have served 25 years of active-duty service.

The events will address disbursing and travel, military health plans, the psychological factors of retirement while also giving attendees the opportunity to develop an individual transition plan to civilian life.
