U.S. Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl. Sarah Wolff-Diaz/Released 121024-M-LD195-507.JPG

A connector with Pro Steel Erectors guides a supporting truss, which will stabilize the 81-ton single-plain truss that spans across Hangar 1 Alpha at Marine Corps Air Station Camp Pendleton Oct. 24. Two, 100-foot cranes were required to lift the 237-foot-long, 17-foot-tall single-plain truss. The hangar will provide Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 39 depot level maintenance a permanent facility to work out of. Depot-level maintenance is currently being conducted at a number of temporary facilities, and this facility will also greatly enhance space efficiencies along the flight line.
