Master Gunnery Sgt. Kevin D. Buckles grips a ceremonial mace while he waits to march the Drum and Bugle Corps onto the Paige Fieldhouse football field for an ensuing musical performance during a 2014 Battle Color Detachment drill exhibition March 13. Commonly referred to as The Commandant's Own, the Drum and Bugle Corps performed choreographed marching routines. The Drum and Bugle Corps’ are easily distinguished by their scarlet dress uniform coats and white trousers. Buckles is the drum major for the Marine Corps Drum and Bugle Corps.
