Army Col. Maxwell Colon, National Commander of the Jewish War Veterans of the United States of America, and his wife, Linda, meet with Brig. Gen. Edward Banta, Commanding General, Marine Corps Installations-West/Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Jan. 16, 2015. Colon is a retired Army Colonel with 32 years of service who served active duty during the Vietnam War and served on the Special Operations Command staff during Desert Shield and Desert Storm.
