Brig. Gen. Edward D. Banta was joined by members of the Browne family for the rededication of the Browne Child Development Center in a ceremony here, Jan. 29. The child development center was named after Capt. Edward R. Browne who died in combat during the Vietnam War, July 1967. Brig. Gen. Banta is Commanding General of Marine Corps Installations West, Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton.

CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. - Brig. Gen. Edward D. Banta was joined by members of the Browne family for the rededication of the Browne Child Development Center in a ceremony here, Jan. 29.
