MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. - U.S. Navy Petty Officer 1st Class Ryan Leonard, a student with Field Medical Training Battalion - West, log rolls a simulated casualty during casualty assessment drills at the FMTB training site on Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, Feb. 19, 2020. This training gives students practice in handling casualties in the field. The staff and instructors at FMTB-West are responsible for training the corpsmen and officers who provide medical support to the Fleet Marine Force. Leonard is a native of Middletown, New Jersey.
