Jared Ericson, a first year lifeguard who saved the lives of ten swimmers during the 2024 July Fourth Celebration at Del Mar Beach, looks through his binoculars while stationed at Guard Tower 2 at Del Mar Beach, California, July 9, 2024. Ericson and 27 other on-duty lifeguards conducted 122 saves during the July Fourth celebration.
