Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, Calif. -- Private First Class Sean Masanova tears into a piece of marinated steak during 3rd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment's barbecue dinner here May 3. The unit's senior enlisted put on the event for Marines and Sailors as a reward training hard at the Marine Corps' top pre-deployment desert training called Mojave Viper. Steaks with pineapple, hot dogs and hamburgers were some of the things served there. Masanova is an infantryman from Sicklerville, New Jersey with Company I, 3rd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment and will deploy with his unit later this year.
