Col. Stephen R. Dinauer, commanding officer, Security Battalion, Camp Pendleton presents a superior achievement award to Jaime E. Rivadeneira, occupational safety and health specialist, Base Safety Office, Camp Pendleton for implementing a safety program which supported more than 7,000 Marines from Regimental Combat Team 1 in Iraq in 2008. The Superior Achievement Award for safety is given out by the commandant of the Marine Corps once a year to a civilian for outstanding safety accomplishments for the Marine Corps.
