(Left to right) Gene Boyer, volunteer with the Jimmy Miller Memorial Foundation, and David McCreary, a platoon sergeant with the Wounded Warrior Battalion-West, paddle to the shore of Manhattan Beach after the 32-mile paddle board race, the Catalina Classic.
