LAPSE OF APPROPRIATIONS NOTICE

The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EST on September 30, 2025. Military personnel will continue in a normal duty status without pay until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted activities will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status.

Camp Pendleton Bike Access Route

The authorized bike route is North-South from the Las Pulgas Gate to the Main Gate (Stuart Mesa Rd to Vandegrift Blvd) and South-North from the Main Gate to the Las Pulgas Gate (Vandegrift Blvd to Stuart Mesa Rd).

Obey all traffic laws and ride single-file and as close as practicable to the right-hand edge of the roadway. Bicycling is only permitted from the Las Pulgas Gate to the Main Gate or vice versa. Deviation from the bike route is not authorized. Violation of these rules will result in immediate termination of access to MCB Camp Pendleton.

Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton (MCB CAMPEN) official visitors,  volunteers,  command guests, guests of base residents, Marine Corps Community Service patrons, and recreational bicyclists should report to the visitor center for service.

MCB CAMPEN official visitors, volunteers, command guests, and guests of base residents will be given priority service over other customers, who can expect very long delays.

The visitor center and base access control may stop accepting customers as early as 2 p.m. to ensure all existing customers are provided service by closing time.
