Veterinary Services
Camp Pendleton Veterinary Treatment Facility is open for business and seeing appointments with priority given to PCS preparation and international health certificates for PCS. Other appointment types include wellness visits for vaccines and establishing care, sick appointments for when your pet has a medical problem, and non-doctor appointments for things that do not require a doctor like nail trims and blood tests. These appointments are accommodated as space and time allow. Contact the facility to discuss scheduling options for surgical procedures. Please allow at least 3 working days for prescription refill requests.

Mission Statement
The Veterinary Services Camp Pendleton Veterinary Treatment Facility (VTF) mission is to not only provide complete medical and surgical care for the military working dogs (MWDs), but to also provide high quality veterinary care at a reasonable cost for the privately owned animals (POAs) of our military community. Because our primary mission is ensuring MWD health and readiness, we do not offer emergency services for privately owned animals (POAs) and instead focus on preventive medicine. We offer appointments for vaccinations, microchip implantation, health certificates for travel, wellness exams, and sick call. While we encourage our clients to contact us for availability of sick call appointments, it often may be in the pet's best interest to be seen off-base for non-elective surgeries, time-sensitive issues like emergencies, or cases requiring hospitalization or advanced diagnostics. Closed Thursday, Weekends, all holidays, and on the last business day of the month for Inventory.
