CAMP PENDLETON --
The Marine Drum and Bugle Corps, The Silent Drill Platoon and The Color Guard of the Marine Corps, collectively known as The Battle Color Detachment, will conduct two performances Friday aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton.
The Marines featured in the Battle Color Ceremony are all assigned to the “Oldest Post of the Corps,” Marine Barracks, Washington, D.C., and appear in hundreds of ceremonies annually in Washington, D.C., across the country and abroad. Members of the media are invited to cover the first performance at 10:30 a.m. on the 11 Area football field.

Media interested in covering this event must call the Camp Pendleton Media Relations Office at (760) 725-5044 and must RSVP no later than noon Thursday, March 14. Members of the media who have RSVP'd will meet at Camp Pendleton's SAN LUIS REY GATE no later than 9:30 AM on FRIDAY to be escorted to the event.
