CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. - Brig. Gen. Edward Banta speaks at the opening ceremony of the Armed Forces Basketball Championship at the Paige Fieldhouse, Nov. 7. The championship consists of a men and womens team from each of the four branches. The tournament is from Nov. 7-13 and the best players from the tournament will be selected to play on the All-Armed Forces Team in December in Belgium. Banta is the Commanding General of Marine Corps Installations West-Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton.
