Lance Cpl. Jared N. McDonald, safety noncommissioned officer for hazardous materials, Headquarters and Support Battalion, Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, submerges his weapon in a new weapon cleaning solvent named QSOL 300. The solvent is cleaner for the environment and breaks down carbon and other contaminants faster than previously used products.
