Racers run back onto the beach after the 500 meter swim portion of a triathlon during the Hardcore Race Series’ Semper Tri/Devil Dog Duathlon held at Assualt Craft Unit-5 here August 3. The Semper Tri/Devil Dog Duathlon is the first event where the race series has combined the triathlon and duathlon. Racers were also required to cycle 30 kilometers, and run 5 kilometers to complete the trial.

CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. - Racers run back onto the beach after the 500 meter swim portion of a triathlon during the Hardcore Race Series’ Semper Tri/Devil Dog Duathlon held at Assualt Craft Unit-5 here August 3. The Semper Tri/Devil Dog Duathlon is the first event where the race series has combined the triathlon and duathlon. Racers were also required to cycle 30 kilometers, and run 5 kilometers to complete the trial.
