Forms and instructions for sponsoring visitors to attend retirements, change of commands, and other official command/MCCS functions aboard Camp Pendleton:

Unit and activity commanders may request to process visitors for command sponsored events at Entry Control Points (ECP) via by-name rosters. This process will require one Staff Non-Commissioned Officer and one assistant to present at the gate(s) to coordinate with the Gate NCOIC.

This process is intended for unit commander approved events where a letter of instruction is produced and the commander accepts responsibility for all invited visitors.  Additionally, the command must have evaluated other means of ingress (trusted traveler) and has determined that this process is required to accommodate the number of invited visitors.

Command, MCCS, and other authorized activity representatives will complete the Command Sponsored Event Notification, Command Sponsored Events Visitor Roster, and MCB Camp Pendleton MCCS Sponsored Event Visitor Roster submit at least seven business days (Mon-Fri) in advance to: pndl_cmdsponsored_events@usmc.mil

The submission must be from a unit representative with “by direction” authority.

In the event a submission or individual visitor is rejected, the unit/ activity representative will be notified via email.

Command, MCCS, and other authorized activity representatives will proceed to the gate(s) as indicated in the submission with a by-name roster of attendees and will coordinate with the Provost Marshal’s Office to approve the visitors’ access.
