The Camp Pendleton hunting program is suspended until further notice.
Currently there is a personnel shortage and the software system used to manage the hunting program is unavailable. This does not allow for safe management of the hunting program. Our Conservation Law Enforcement officers will still be offering a fishing program, compliance enforcement of environmental regulations, and wildlife conflict management.
For recorded updates regarding fishing at Case Springs and Pulgas Lake,
please call 760-763-6681
This will be updated every Thursday.
Any questions related to the hunting and fishing programs can be directed to Resource Management at

The Mission of the Conservation Law Enforcement Section (CLS) is to provide Camp Pendleton and Environmental Security with resource, cultural, environmental mission program support, and Conservation Law Enforcement Officer (CLEO) investigations of specific violations. We also manage wildlife conflict; manage and administer the recreational hunting and fishing programs while providing quality of life to customers; and ensuring compliance to applicable laws.
Compliance is accomplished by providing base-wide CLEO responses, patrols and investigations into resource and environmental related violations along with providing technician support to minimize human/wildlife conflict on base while ensuring today’s and future generations of Marines, Sailors, their families and others are able to safely enjoy recreational fishing and hunting activities.
