Tabitha Carter, captain of team Big Stix, stands ready in the field during the first elimination round of the first "Over the Line" tournament on Camp Pendleton's Del Mar Beach, Sept. 22. Carter was the only female in the all-male divisions of the competition, noting that her shop didn't have enough participants to make a regular softball team. Even being a female in the all-male portion of the competition, Carter was able to hang with the men, often times catching many line drives and scoring points for her team.
