CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. -- Camp Pendleton Fire Department is scheduled to conduct a prescribed burn on Blue Beach, north of the Del Mar Beach Resort on the west side of I-5 at 8:00 a.m. Friday.
Due to recent storms, vegetation washed out from the Santa Margarita river and ashore at Blue Beach. The burn is scheduled to last 10-12 hours. Firefighters will remain on scene throughout the burn. Smoke will be visible from I-5 and the surrounding area.
