CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. -- San Onofre Beach will be closed until Wednesday morning due to a shark attack that resulted in one civilian being medical air-lifted and taken to Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla, Saturday at 6:24 p.m.
Beach patrons are advised to heed warnings from local authorities to include Military Police, Area Guards and San Onofre Lifeguards as well as signage posted at the beach.
