Beginning 31 Dec., Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton will begin implementing a ride share program aboard the installation which will be open to taxi and app-based ride share services.

This initiative is to provide our service members and their families with a safe method of transportation on or off base, as well as throughout various authorized pick up locations aboard the installation.

In order to ensure the safety of our residents, all drivers interested in providing transportation services must first go through an approval process and comply with specific rules and regulations laid out by MCB Camp Pendleton, some of which include the possession of a valid U.S. driver’s license, valid vehicle registration, and proof of insurance.
