The Camp Pendleton Fire Department is hosting its annual Fire School aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton this week ending on Friday June 5.

Participating departments are Orange County Fire Authority, California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, Los Angeles Fire Department, Glendale Fire Department, Brea Fire Department, San Diego Fire-Rescue Department, Miramar Fire Department, Carlsbad Fire Department, California’s Office of Emergency Services, San Marcos Fire Department, Oceanside Fire Department, and Rancho Santa Fe Fire Protection District.

Smoke may be visible throughout the week at various times from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the northern, north-eastern, and center portions of base as well as Bonsall, and Fallbrook.
