Brigadier General Jason G. Woodworth

Brigadier General Jason Woodworth currently serves as the Commanding General, Marine Corps Installations West-Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton, California. His prior assignment was as the Director of Manpower Plans and Policy, Manpower and Reserve Affairs. He has served in various billets in the FMF as a FA-18 pilot, primarily at Miramar, where he commanded VMFA-323 from 2011-2013, and was the Air Station CO from 2015-2018.

His joint tour was as an Arms Control Inspection team chief with Defense Threat Reduction Agency in Germany, and he also served as a MAWTS instructor in Yuma, Arizona. Brigadier General Woodworth participated in multiple contingency operations during deployments to the Middle East.

Brigadier General Woodworth is a native of Suffield, Connecticut and attended Colgate, University of Oklahoma, and King’s College, London. He and his wife, Renee, have three children.
